Complimentary recipe
You can make sticky rice with sticky white rice, or a combination of several brown rices with sticky white rice. Asian Market of Provo supplies not only several varieties of rice, but also baskets and steamers.
| 1 package | stick white rice | |
| 1 package | brown rice | |
| — | water |
1. If using brown rice, soak it overnight in warm water. If using white rice, soak for 2 hours in hot water.
2. Pour rices into basket over steamer. Don't let the water touch the bottom of the basket.
3. Steam for 20 minutes. Remove basket and toss rice (in basket). Steam for 5 minutes longer.
