Wind power is a very interesting thing, but it's devilishly hard to achieve in any consistent and useful way. Unless you live someplace where the wind blows hard and continually, the expense and maintenance of wind-generated electricity is going to be little more than a pipe dream.
As wind is capricious in our community, we're not considering it a serious source of energy.
