Les Andelys

We spent the night in this little village in the crook of the Seine River so we could go to see Monet's Giverny the next day. That evening, we dined on frog legs—a greatly overrated experience. High on a hill overlooking this village is the Château Gaillard of Richard the Lion-hearted. These pictures were taken in May 1999.
