In 2025, I began using Cursor AI because my workplace began to provide it.
I'll get around to filling this in some day.
It's a non-fatal error for Cursor AI not to have free reign in your sandbox and makes you okay each action it wishes to take. The Cursor AI sandbox prevents unauthorized access while allowing workspace operations. This said, the only penalty is that the Agent will fall back to asking for approval before running commands. One problem I have with the interface is that it's missing a global menu bar, in particular, the File → Close/Quit option and the documentation on-line is very devious about how to get out. Unofficial documentation by other users leads me to do this:
